Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant. This position offers the opportunity for long-term employment in a dynamic and rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a diverse and sometimes distracting setting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of daycare and boarding facilities
- Supervise dogs during group playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Prepare meals and administer medications as required
- Greeting, checking in & out clients and their pets in a professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
- Answering phones and making bookings through our computer system
- Assist with cleaning duties related to pet care
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment (Team Player)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience working with dogs of various sizes and breeds preferred
- Strong physical stamina, able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and low absenteeism
- Flexibility to work morning/mid-day shifts/evening shifts, and weekends
