Job Responsibility:

We're looking for an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in the Software sales space to join our dynamic team in the Greater Toronto area. With Xerox, you'll have the chance to leverage your industry knowledge and drive sales growth with the support of a dedicated pre-sales engineer team to ensure technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hunt for New Business: Dive into the heart of the SMB market, using creative prospecting techniques such as door-knocking and cold calling to uncover fresh opportunities. Your mission: connect with new clients and show them how Xerox can transform their business.

  • Build Relationships: Engage with key decision-makers at SMBs, understanding their challenges and offering tailored Xerox solutions that make a difference. Your ability to forge trust and drive conversations will be the key to your success.

  • Channel Engagement: Work closely with our local agencies (10 agencies in the Central Area) to strengthen partnerships, enhance engagement, and uncover new opportunities. As the primary point of contact, you'll be the driving force in helping your agents grow their business with Xerox.

  • Drive the Sales Process: From the first phone call to the final deal, you'll own the entire sales cycle. You'll qualify leads, present solutions, and collaborate with the pre-sales engineer team to ensure your prospects get the technical support they need.

  • Create Impact & Grow: In this high-energy role, you'll be responsible for nurturing a sales pipeline that fuels Xerox's growth. Your persistence and proactive approach will directly contribute to our expansion in the Central Area.

  • Collaborate & Learn: Be part of a high-performing team where collaboration and support are key. With the pre-sales engineer team backing you up, you'll have everything you need to win in the field and continuously grow your sales skills.

  • Account Management & Farming: Engage with your clients after the sale to build long-term, profitable relationships. Use your expertise to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, growing your accounts and boosting your commissions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Sales Drive: You're ready to hit the ground running and take on the challenge of selling Xerox solutions to SMBs. A passion for sales and an eagerness to learn and grow is what we're looking for!

  • Resilience & Persistence: This role is about going after what you want. Door-knocking, cold calls, and overcoming rejection are all part of the excitement. If you're someone who thrives under pressure and bounces back quickly from challenges, you'll succeed here.

  • Relationship-Building: You know how to connect with people and make an impact. Engaging SMB decision-makers, understanding their pain points, and offering the perfect solution will come naturally to you.

  • No Technical Experience Needed: While technical knowledge of Xerox products is a bonus, you don't need to be a tech expert. Your focus will be on building relationships, selling solutions, and driving sales.

  • Self-Motivated & Driven: This role is about taking initiative and driving results. If you're a self-starter who thrives in a target-driven environment and loves setting and achieving big goals, this is the perfect fit for you.

  • Location: Ideally based in or near the Greater Toronto area with the flexibility to travel locally and make in-person connections.
