DB2 UDB Developer.
Location: Montreal, QC, Canada (Onsite Only).
We are seeking an experienced DB2 UDB Developer with strong expertise in database development, Linux scripting, and automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience writing complex DB2 queries, stored procedures, and shell scripts, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience with DB2 UDB database development.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data retrieval scripts.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix Shell Scripting.
- Solid experience with Python and/or Perl.
- Experience with Autosys or similar scheduling tools.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and create technical solutions.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Willingness to learn and understand business domains.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Greenplum.
- Experience with Informatica.
- Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
Additional Notes:
Candidates with strong PL/SQL development experience and excellent Unix/Linux scripting skills are encouraged to apply, provided they are open to working with DB2 UDB.
