Senior Data QA Engineer Python SQL

Python and SQL specialists can shape data quality as Data QA Engineers based in Canada, supporting web extraction and AI-assisted solutions.
This Data QA Engineer role requires at least five years in QA, software testing, data testing, or data quality assurance. You will translate customer requirements into measurable standards and prevent defects before production. The work combines exploratory testing, data analysis, automation, and clear communication with developers, project managers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define testable criteria and comprehensive QA strategies
- Test extracted datasets for defects and specification compliance
- Document reproducible defects with supporting evidence
- Analyze completeness, accuracy, consistency, and data drift
- Improve automation frameworks, QA processes, and tooling
Requirements:
- At least five years of relevant QA experience
- Python proficiency, preferably Pandas and Jupyter notebooks
- Basic to intermediate SQL validation skills
- Knowledge of HTML, XPath, JSON, and CSS
- Experience testing or REST APIs
Use Python, SQL, exploratory testing, and automation to strengthen reliable data delivery for customers from Canada.
