Just ask! Job Level NV-10 The Individual Insurance Solutions Department's mission is to meet the needs of Desjardins Group's Individual Insurance Manufacturing. More specifically, it uses the latest technology to design and develop solutions for the sale, issuing and administration of insurance contracts. These solutions include digital distribution channels for members and clients, tools for the distribution networks and systems for the business sectors that comprise Manufacturing. You'll be joining a team that works as a squad in Agile/DevOps mode. As a technical leader in software product development, operations and maintenance, you support IT efficiency. You analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain and upgrade software based on the organization's needs. You are responsible for the quality and security of coded solutions. You draw on your ability to work with technology and anticipate innovation to actively help develop, standardize and roll out large-scale IT systems, programs and applications. You analyze client, partner needs, and recommend IT solutions. You plan, prioritize and coordinate work to meet objectives. Your projects and initiatives require extensive, in-depth knowledge of your line of work. You help solve highly complex problems using your analytical skills and comprehensive, detailed understanding of your line of business and the organization. Coordination is critical. You interact with many stakeholders working in a wide range of fields. You lead and serve as a systems specialist for your unit, clients and practitioners. We're looking for someone with good communication skills who can proactively and independently manage cross-sector files. General Information on the Position Main responsibilities

• Develop complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions
• Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices
• Write procedures, guidelines and development methods. Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and users
• Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly
• Identify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents
• Lead software package installations and testing and application rollout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years as a technical leader
• Experience with the following programming languages: C#, JavaScript, React, Git, .NET
• Experience with providers and software packages
• Experience with automated pipeline tools
• Experience with PaaS and cloud computing
• Experience with DevOps and full stack (an asset)

Specific knowledge

• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence (an asset)
