Purchasing & Risk Management Officer
The City of Campbell River is seeking an experienced Purchasing & Risk Management Officer.
- Competitive compensation: Salary range of $97,859 to $111,176, commensurate with experience.
- Attractive Vacation Package: 6 weeks in your 1 st year, increasing to 7 weeks at the start of the 2 nd year.

- Work Life Balance: Position is eligible for a compressed work week schedule (9/1), with every 2 nd Friday or Monday off.

Our ideal candidate will have:
- Two (2) year Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- CSCP Certified Supply Chain Professional, NIGP Certified Procurement Professional or equivalent designation.
- Member of Supply Chain Canada Association.
- Minimum five (5) years progressive public procurement and risk management work experience, including experience designing, developing and implementing best practices sourcing and leading complex procurement projects.
- Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience, preferably in a municipal purchasing/stores environment.
- Risk/claims management experience.
