Plant Manager at Veolia North America

Elevate operations at Veolia North America as a Plant Manager in Toronto. Oversee safety, compliance, and operational efficiency in critical facility management. In this pivotal management role, you will be responsible for all aspects of facility performance in line with contract requirements. With over ten years in waste treatment operations and team leadership, your expertise will ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Your mission includes direct client liaison, budget oversight, and fostering a culture of operational excellence within the team. Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a strong safety culture among personnel and contractors
- Oversee daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage financial performance, P&L, and operational forecasting
- Serve as the primary contact for client relations and contract compliance
- Lead maintenance team in maximizing operational uptime
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in waste treatment and facility management
- Proven track record in contract management
- Strong technical proficiency in engineering standards
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
