Lead corporate-commercial credit risk at Moneris from Etobicoke, using underwriting expertise and data analytics with remote flexibility available.As Senior Manager, Corporate-Commercial Credit, you will lead Senior Credit Analysts managing Large Key Accounts, Strategic Partners, and higher-risk SMB clients. You will guide underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and mitigation while supporting growth within established risk appetite. The role reports to the VP, Merchant Portfolio Risk Management.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coach Senior Credit Analysts through complex credit decisionsOversee underwriting, renewals, portfolio monitoring, and risk mitigation activitiesApprove management limits and delegate approval authority across the teamMonitor portfolio metrics, economic conditions, trends, and emerging risksPartner with clients, sales, legal, audit, and risk stakeholdersRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experienceProfessional designation such as CPA, CFA, CCP, or FCSIEight to ten years’ credit risk experience in financial servicesFive or more years’ people leadership in credit riskAdvanced analytics, Excel, SPSS, SQL, and MATLAB knowledgeBring corporate-commercial underwriting, portfolio oversight, and people leadership expertise to Moneris’ credit risk team in Etobicoke.
