Day Camp Leader Student Job Our Lady of Lebanon Parish Location 111 Clayton Park Drive Halifax, NS Salary 16.75 to 18.50 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week Full time Day, 08:30 to 16:30 Starts as early as 2026-05-30 Benefits: Other benefits Languages English Student status Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Full time enrollment Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Outdoors Work setting Private business Outdoor centre Recreational or cultural centre Responsibilities: Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness or sports activities and techniques Keep logs and maintain records Schedule activities Supervise staff Instruct groups and individuals in arts and crafts Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs Plan and carry out recreational, fitness and sports activities Prepare reports Understand principles of group dynamics Leading/instructing groups Leading/instructing individuals Assist clients/guests with special needs Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Assemble supplies, sports and game equipment Supervision More than 20 people Additional information Security and safety Criminal record check Child Abuse Registry check Personal suitability Accurate Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative Interpersonal awareness Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Benefits Other benefits Free parking available Until: 2026-06-13
