DIRECTOR OF CLIENT STRATEGY & PARTNERSHIPS
Role Overview: Our client is entering an exciting stage of growth and evolution. As Western Canada's leading Destination Management and Event Production company, they are seeking a strategic leader to help strengthen their commercial engine, expand market presence, and create greater alignment across Business Development, Marketing, Proposal Development, and Operations.
Key Areas of Responsibility: ·
- Commercial Growth Strategy ·
- Business Development Leadership ·
- Sales, Marketing and Proposal Integration ·
- Business Systems & Process Improvement
- Market Expansion & Industry Leadership
Success Measures:
- Increased market presence and brand recognition
- Stronger alignment between Sales, Marketing, Proposal Development, and Operations
- Improved proposal quality and win rates
- Measurable improvements in forecasting, reporting, and sales effectiveness
- 7+ years of sales, business development, or revenue leadership experience with strong account management capabilities
- Experience leading and mentoring business development or sales teams
- Strong understanding of B2B sales strategy and pipeline management
- CRM implementation and sales operations experience
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Hospitality, events, destination management, travel, tourism, or related industry experience preferred
Compensation
We offer an excellent base salary and variable compensation plan, along with the chance to play a pivotal role with a market leader.
