Aerospace Project Engineer Ii

Aerospace project engineering at Janicki Industries combines customer coordination, project planning, and manufacturing support in an on-site Washington position. Work across complex aerospace, defense, and space projects.

As a Project Engineer II, you will support assigned projects from customer requirements and SOW development through design and manufacturing. The work includes schedules, budgets, engineering reviews, purchasing, quality, and project reporting. Janicki Industries operates in Hamilton, Bellingham, and Sedro Woolley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate customers and technical teams across project lifecycle stages
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Support design, drafting, reviews, and manufacturing activities
• Manage materials, purchasing, scope, risks, and quality requirements
• Monitor project health, financial performance, and shop-floor progress

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Two years of engineering experience and demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Experience with CATIA, NX, or equivalent CAD software
• Microsoft Office proficiency and effective English communication skills
• Ability to obtain required U.S. government security clearance
