Tunnel Construction Project Director

Lead major tunnel and underground construction projects for EBC in Mississauga, coordinating bids, execution, quality, safety, schedules, and costs across Canada.As Project Director, you will oversee proposals and one or more construction projects, independently or with project managers. You will direct teams, negotiate subcontractor agreements, monitor financial controls, and support customer contract discussions. The work requires deep tunneling knowledge, project leadership, and construction management experience.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare bids and oversee execution of major construction projectsNegotiate and verify subcontractor agreements below one million dollarsCoordinate quality, safety, quantities, schedules, costs, and corrective actionsReview monthly cost controls and report results to leadershipMonitor staffing, productivity, customer satisfaction, and operating costsRequirements:
Engineering degree, technology diploma, or equivalent industry experienceMore than fifteen years of construction industry experienceCivil construction experience involving tunnels and underground worksStrong knowledge of TBM, SEM/NATM, cut-and-cover, and micro-tunnellingLeadership, organization, financial management, scheduling software, and communication skillsBring tunneling expertise, project leadership, and financial discipline to EBC’s major underground construction projects throughout Canada.
