What you will doOur People & Change Advisory practice are seeking a Consultant to strengthen our Management Consulting practice in the Ottawa office. We are looking for a motivated professional like you to join our dynamic team. If you have early experience in change management or transformational projects, this may be the opportunity for you.
As a Consultant in our People and Change practice, you will contribute to the delivery of client engagements and build your consulting skillset by:
- Supporting the execution of client engagements by contributing to deliverables and workstreams
- Conducting research, data analysis, and developing insights to support transformation initiatives
- Assisting in the development of client-ready materials including presentations, reports, and recommendations
- Working collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality outputs on time and in line with client expectations
- Supporting change management, organizational design, and workforce transformation activities
- Participating in workshops, stakeholder interviews, and analysis to help inform solutions
- Identifying issues, forming hypotheses, and contributing to problem-solving approaches
- Supporting project management activities such as tracking timelines, deliverables, and risks
- Collaborating with client teams and contributing to a positive client experience
- Building your understanding of consulting methodologies, tools, and frameworks through hands-on delivery experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, change management, organizational design, or project-based environments
- Exposure to transformation initiatives, HR projects, or consulting-type work is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize information and contribute to clear, structured deliverables
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within team environments
- Experience working with data (qualitative and/or quantitative) to support insights and recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work within timelines
- Undergraduate degree in Business, HR, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field
- Passion for people-related transformation and consulting
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $71,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
