Job Description
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight throughout all phases of commercial construction projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Support project teams by identifying risks, resolving issues, and implementing effective solutions.
- Monitor project performance, financials, schedules, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Review contracts, project budgets, schedules, and change orders.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Participate in executive planning, forecasting, and business strategy discussions.
- Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals, client meetings, and strategic initiatives when required.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Project Management should have:
- Proven experience in managing commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to drive project success.
- Excellent budgeting and financial management abilities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving abilities to address challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
