Contracts Manager - Field Leadership

Join a leading construction firm as a Contracts Manager, specializing in contract law and complex negotiations. Your expertise will drive the effective management of agreements and enhance customer relations. As the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing contract negotiations, conducting risk assessments, and managing relationships across departments. Collaborate closely with Sales to provide guidance on large project terms while ensuring compliance with evolving legislative requirements. Your strong negotiation and communication skills will be crucial in navigating difficult situations and promoting a culture of customer service. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide contract negotiations and risk assessment processes
- Oversee a small team, ensuring effective contract review
- Liaise with departments for compliant agreements
- Manage legislative updates and their implementation
- Maintain tracking systems for contract history and agreements
- Post-secondary education in Business or Law
- Familiarity with the New Construction Act required
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and drafting
- Strong time management and decision-making capabilities
- Relevant leadership experience in a team environment
