Senior Manager Real Estate Strategy

Lead corporate real estate strategy and land acquisition for the City of Maple Ridge through a temporary full-time municipal leadership assignment.The Senior Manager oversees real estate, land acquisition, and land management functions supporting strategic objectives and long-term municipal planning. This senior role maintains a 15–20-year outlook, builds property portfolios for civic projects, and advises on capital planning. It also guides acquisition, disposition, leasing, conveyancing, rights-of-way, easements, and encroachments across departments.Key Responsibilities:
Develop long-term land strategies and property portfoliosLead acquisition, disposition, leasing, and conveyancing functionsEstablish consistent land management frameworks and processesAdvise senior leadership and Council on real estate decisionsMaintain the City’s Land Inventory SystemRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in real estate, planning, geography, or related fieldSignificant real estate and land acquisition experienceAACI or R.I. (B.C.) designationKnowledge of legislation, appraisal, valuation, and acquisition processesValid British Columbia driver’s licenceBring strategic land management, negotiation, and real estate expertise to Maple Ridge’s long-term municipal planning and civic priorities.
