Nuclear Procurement Engineer with Aecon

Your collaboration with various departmental teams will be essential to project success and vendor engagement. Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and review design data to inform vendor equipment choices
• Develop preliminary technical specifications and RFQs for proposals
• Ensure that selected equipment complies with nuclear standards
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams for seamless operation
• Evaluate vendor quotations based on performance and price criteria

Requirements:

• Must hold a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in nuclear procurement
• Knowledge of CSA and ASME standards essential
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail required
• Ability to multitask and work within tight deadlines
