Chinese Restaurant Kitchen Helper

Job Responsibility:

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, and preparing ingredients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and supplies.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
