AI Engineering Senior Director Role

Elevate SurveyMonkey's AI capabilities as the Senior Director of AI Engineering. Spearhead the shift to an AI-first solution enhancing user experience with data insights. Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will define SurveyMonkey’s AI strategy and facilitate collaboration between Product Management and Data Science teams. Your leadership will set the tone for integrating sophisticated AI methodologies, while also ensuring team growth and efficient recruitment of top talent. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage long-term AI strategies and objectives
• Act as the key liaison between products and data science
• Ensure alignment of AI capabilities with product vision
• Research the latest developments in data science methodologies
• Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing team

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in data science roles
• Strong documentation of AI/ML platform leadership
• In-depth experience in machine learning and experimental design
• Proven application of Large Language Models in production
• Master’s or higher degree in quantitative fields
