Skills

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Pharmacy Technical Assistance or equivalent experience
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting (an asset)
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Tasks

• Prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Welcome patients and gather the information needed to properly address their questions
• Perform administrative tasks related to patient file management and data entry
• Maintain medication inventory and stock levels
• Assist with ordering and receiving medications
