Our Parks team maintains Kelowna’s City Parks, gardens, sports fields, nursery facilities and a range of natural green spaces. Bring your creativity and innovation to a diverse team and help enhance Kelowna’s landscape by using your related experience in a variety of disciplines, which includes turfgrass management, irrigation systems, horticultural propagation, pest management and arboriculture.

Qualifications

• Horticultural Diploma and related experience
• People Management, Creativity, Flexibility and Service Excellence
• BC Driver’s License Class 5 and ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check

Grow your career in an organization that supports employee work-life balance and professional development. This is a CUPE bargaining unit position with an hourly rate of $35.60 plus plus 14% in lieu of benefits, vacation and statutory holidays. This position has a potential end date in July/August 2027, and could be extended up to another 6 months.

Don’t have a Horticulture Diploma? No problem!  We are also interested in candidates who are passionate about horticulture and have related experience.
