Principal
Nelson Christian Community School (NCCS) is accepting applications for a dynamic principal, committed to our mission and values, commencing August 1, 2024. We are looking for a Christ-centered leader with a passion for quality Christian education who exhibits proven expertise in education and leadership. The candidate must be a strong spiritual leader who models integrity and faith with a passion for Christ-centred education.

NCCS is a vibrant faith-based school nestled on the mountainside on the North Shore of Kootenay Lake in the beautiful, small City of Nelson in the Southern Interior of B.C. Qualifications
- Valid BC teaching certificate
- Master's degree in education or a related field is an asset
- A minimum of five years of teaching experience in a K-9 setting
- A proven track record of effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experienced teacher (minimum of 5 years) with training and understanding of the meaning and value of a faith-based learning environment
- Principal or Vice Principal experience is considered an asset
- Acceptance of the NCCS Statement of Faith, without reservation
