Social Worker and Attendance Counsellor
Upper Grand District School Board
Empower students as a Social Worker and Attendance Counsellor with Upper Grand District School Board. This permanent full-time role offers the chance to lead impactful interventions in the North Wellington area. The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is seeking an experienced Social Worker to support student well-being. Specifically, this role requires expertise in evidence-based clinical modalities, case management, and attendance monitoring. Work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff while engaging in community consultative practices to foster a supportive educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-based social work interventions
• Conduct clinical assessments and case management
• Develop and deliver group clinical interventions
• Engage with families and staff for support
• Participate in community and educational committees Requirements:
• Master of Social Work degree (MSW) required
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Expertise in behavioural and mental health support
• Familiarity with local service agencies
