Elevate your career as a Mental Health & Substance Use Clinician with Northern Health. In this role, you’ll deliver person-centered care in diverse settings from Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:30. As a key player in our Primary Care department, you will help clients manage mental health and addiction challenges through tailored care plans. You are expected to conduct assessments, apply therapeutic interventions, and engage in effective communication with clients and families. Your skills in teamwork and advocacy will greatly benefit our interprofessional team. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for clients
• Teach individuals and groups using best practices
• Communicate effectively with teams and families
• Promote person-centered care and diversity sensitivity
• Organize work objectives and achieve results Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health or related field
• Two years of experience with complex care clients
• Valid BC driver’s license
• Physical capability to perform duties
• Commitment to client advocacy and social justice Utilize your expertise in mental health to support individuals and families at Northern Health.
