Telecommunications Line Installers

TDX Infrastructure Services is hiring five full-time Telecommunications Line Installers for permanent positions based in Hanover, Ontario. The successful candidates will work at different locations and must be prepared for frequent or continuous travel. The wage is $37.00 to $39.00 per hour, negotiable, for approximately 30 to 44 hours per week. Applicants should have completed secondary school and possess between seven months and one year of relevant experience.

Main Responsibilities

Inspect telecommunications trunking systems
Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment
Install trunking systems, circuits and related equipment
Complete and maintain testing and service reports
Connect, disconnect and relocate cable outlets
Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems
Repair or replace defective cables, amplifiers and power supplies
