Chase & District Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Patient Registration Health Records Clerk to join their team in Chase, B.C.! This position works rotating days, 07:45 to 15:45 This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week. This position performs a variety of clerical duties such as: - Patient Registration;
- Books outpatient appointments;
- Pulls and assembles charts;
- Reception duties;
- Cashier functions - journal entry, balances cash daily, prepares bank deposits and cash reports;
- Health records duties - pulling and assembling charts/files; identifying and processing corrections; receiving and processing requests for release of information; pulling designated classes of files; reviewing completed charts and files; calculating and maintaining statistics; monitoring and maintaining health record tracking systems.
What should your application include?- Confirmation of completion of Grade 12
- A current Typing Test of 45 wpm or greater completed within past 48 months from a recognized institution
- Your Resume indicating one year's recent related experience, Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
- A Cover Letter stating your availability to start in a new position and on-call, casual work (i.e. days of the week);
