Overview
We’re seeking reliable, safety-conscious individuals to support lighting maintenance across our large warehouse. If you’re practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable walking, climbing, and using basic tools, this is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to maintaining safe working conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace faulty lights across multiple aisles, ensuring the warehouse remains safe and well-lit.
- Use simple tools like screwdrivers and impact guns to replace older lights—averaging about 5 minutes per light.
- Conduct your work with safety as a top priority, following proper procedures and wearing mandatory PPE.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
- Maintain accurate progress records and report any issues or concerns promptly.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Ability to walk extensively and climb ladders comfortably.
- Hands-on experience with general maintenance, technical tasks, or handyman work.
- Strong attention to safety, with the ability to work with low-voltage electrical tasks (24 volts) without electrical experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience working in large warehouses or industrial environments.
- Safety certification or PPE experience, especially with safety footwear.
Details
- Hours: 8 am – 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Duration: Approximately 3 months
- PPE: Must wear CSA-certified impact-resistant safety boots with composite toes or steel toe.
