Senior Software Architect, AEC Data at Autodesk

Transform data use for Autodesk's AEC industry with an experienced Software Architect role. Design systems and services for cross-cutting data capabilities that redefine how professionals capture and utilize data. As a Senior Software Architect in the AEC Platform Data team at Autodesk, you will design and build next-gen systems for the Autodesk Forma Industry Cloud. This role demands a strong foundation in software architecture, cloud services, and data management principles. You'll collaborate extensively with other architects to ensure impactful architecture is communicated and aligns with product roadmaps. Key Responsibilities:
- Define architecture for data platforms across AEC teams
- Lead architectural governance and decision-making processes
- Design distributed systems and data platforms effectively
- Ensure performance, security, and reliability in all systems
- Partner with product teams for roadmap integration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 10+ years as a Software Architect in cloud environments
- Expertise in API design and database architecture
- Strong communication skills and team collaboration
- Experience in AEC industry is a plus
