Primary Care Program Manager

Lead primary and clinical care oversight on-site at the main office, using supervisory, planning, and communication expertise across Manitoulin Island.The Primary Care Manager provides administrative and performance oversight for primary and clinical care services. This position supervises staff and locums while supporting hiring, training, coaching, and development. It also advances quality improvement, cultural safety, electronic medical record processes, and coordinated care.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee primary and clinical care services administratively and operationallySupervise program staff and locums across care servicesSupport hiring, orientation, training, coaching, and developmentMonitor budgets, expenditures, reports, and statistical informationCoordinate quality improvement, cultural safety, and interprofessional practicesRequirements:
Degree specific to Registered Nursing or relevant Allied Health disciplineMinimum five years of supervisory or management experienceProven ability to lead frontline primary care teamsKnowledge of First Nations and Anishinabek health issuesValid Class G licence, vehicle access, and Vulnerable Sector CheckBring primary care leadership, administrative oversight, and cultural safety awareness to this on-site Manitoulin Island management position.
