Location of job: High River

Job summary: Farmboy Landscaping & Maintenance in High River is seeking experienced landscape carpenters for the 2026 summer season. We will be working hard this year to work on projects for our clients this year that will include; fences, gates, patios, decks, retaining walls, pergolas, and much more! If you have the woodworking knowledge and skills we want to hear from you!

Qualifications:

• General construction experience
• Knowledge of building codes
• Experience building decks, fences, retaining walls, pergolas, etc.
• Effective time management
• Able to read blueprints and plans
• Must be physically fit and capable of moving materials and equipment
• Able to withstand Alberta weather
• Able to drive a truck with a trailer
• Active participation in our Safety Program

• High River, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Required Experience:

• Carpentry: 3 years (required)
• Landscaping: 1 year (required)

• Valid class 5 license with clean driving record required

Other related experience would be an asset:

• Landscape construction experience (paving stones, etc.)
• Workers with existing certifications such as Skid Steer Operator, Standard First Aid, Leadership for Safety Excellence, would be an asset

Language:

• English (preferred)

Schedule:

• 8 – 12 hour shifts
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
