We are seeking a highly experienced Digital Assets Architect (SME) with deep expertise in tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and Ethereum-based platforms. The ideal candidate brings strong domain knowledge from top-tier financial institutions and has led architecture and implementation of blockchain-based solutions within regulated banking environments.
About the Role Looking for a SME architect with significant experience in Digital Assets (Tokenized Deposits/Stablecoins/Ethereum) … preferably someone who worked with top tier banks (JPMC, Standard Charter, etc.)
Responsibilities Lead architecture and design of digital asset platforms focused on tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and blockchain-based payment solutions.
Define end-to-end architecture across Ethereum (or EVM-based networks), including smart contracts, custody, settlement, and integration with core banking systems.
Drive solution design for institutional use cases (e.g., tokenized cash, on-chain settlement, liquidity management).
Collaborate with business, compliance, and technology stakeholders to ensure regulatory, security, and risk alignment.
Provide thought leadership on digital asset strategy, platform selection, and scalability considerations.
Oversee integration with enterprise systems (payments, treasury, identity, custody platforms).
Guide development teams on best practices for smart contracts, token standards (ERC20/721/1400), and blockchain security.
Support POCs, pilots, and production rollouts of digital asset solutions.
Qualifications 10+ years of overall experience, with significant focus on digital assets / blockchain architecture.
Deep expertise in Ethereum and smart contract ecosystems (Solidity, EVM-based platforms).
Strong knowledge of tokenized deposits, stablecoins, and digital asset frameworks within banking.
Proven experience designing platforms for institutional-grade blockchain adoption.
Hands-on experience with APIs, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and system integrations.
Robust understanding of security, cryptography, wallet/custody models, and key management.
Experience working in regulated environments, including knowledge of compliance and risk considerations.
Required Skills Prior experience with tier-1 global banks (e.g., JPMC, Standard Chartered, Citi, HSBC) or leading fintechs.
Exposure to tokenization initiatives, CBDC pilots, or blockchain-based payment networks.
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and executive leadership as a subject matter expert.
Preferred Skills Familiarity with Hyperledger, Corda, or enterprise blockchain platforms.
