Carpenter Westvan Drywall Ltd. Location Vancouver, BC Salary 36.70 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per week Full time Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Flexible hours Starts as soon as possible Languages English Education Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience Experience 7 months to less than 1 year Work must be completed at the physical Location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment Noisy Dusty Responsibilities: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Supervision 1 to 2 people Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Bending, crouching, kneeling Combination of sitting, standing, walking Handling heavy loads Large workload Physically demanding Tight deadlines Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Until: 2026-04-20
