The Penticton & District Hospice Society, a non-profit focused on end-of-life care, is seeking a Treasurer to lead our volunteer Finance Committee. This position involves managing financial resources, guiding expenditure oversight, and providing essential reports to the Board of Directors on financial matters. You'll also handle annual insurance applications and ensure compliance with CRA and WCB, contributing significantly to the hospice's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the Finance Committee's financial oversight efforts
• Provide monthly reports on expenditures and asset allocations
• Manage annual filings for insurance and regulatory compliance
• Prepare updates for the Annual General Meeting
• Maintain oversight of donations and funding efforts
Requirements:
