About the Role 

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate RMT and/or Fascial Stretch Therapist who is passionate about helping clients achieve mental and physical relaxation, relieve stress, and improve overall wellness. In this role, you will work closely with clients dealing with mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, and stress, as well as those seeking relief from physical tension or injury. You will use massage therapy and/or fascial stretch techniques to help ease both the mind and body, and support clients’ emotional and physical healing.

As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in providing integrated care that addresses the whole person. Your treatments will be an essential part of our clients’ overall health and well-being.

This role can be based out of our Hamilton, Mississauga or midtown Toronto office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized massage therapy and/or fascial stretch treatments to address both physical and emotional stress, pain relief, and mental health concerns.

• Use therapeutic techniques to help clients with anxiety, depression, chronic stress, muscle tension, and injury recovery.

• Work closely with other health professionals in a collaborative team environment, including therapists, dietitians, and naturopathic doctors, to provide a holistic approach to client care.

• Educate clients on the mental and physical benefits of massage therapy and/or fascial stretch techniques, and provide recommendations for self-care and lifestyle adjustments.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records in accordance with clinic policies.

• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in massage therapy, fascial stretch therapy, and mental health care.

• Create a calming, therapeutic environment that promotes relaxation and emotional well-being for clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• For RMT: Current registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) .

• For Fascial Stretch Therapist: Certification in Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) or equivalent, or similar training in myofascial release techniques.

• Specialized experience or training in treating mental health-related concerns such as anxiety, depression, or stress is an asset.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Passionate about using bodywork to support emotional and physical healing.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Flexibility and adaptability in treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Previous experience working with clients in a mental health setting is a plus, though not required.
