Canada Perforating is seeking a talented and experienced Industrial CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial design and be proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD. This is a full-time, in-office position located in the Niagara region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for industrial projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
- Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems.
- Prepare and present design proposals to the customer.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial design.
- Proficiency in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
