Senior Defence Infrastructure Project Director

Lead secure defence infrastructure delivery at WSP, directing complex capital projects and multidisciplinary teams across Canada’s land, air, and naval environments.As Senior Project Director, Defence Infrastructure, you will lead national portfolio delivery for military bases, shipyards, aircraft hangars, and federal facilities. The work combines strategic leadership, client accountability, governance, and project delivery expertise. You will help grow WSP’s Defence and Federal Buildings practice while delivering public-sector projects.Key Responsibilities:
Lead projects from planning and procurement through construction, commissioning, and closeoutEstablish schedules, budgets, resource plans, quality controls, and risk strategiesDirect multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, security, and project controls teamsServe as primary client interface for delivery outcomesCoordinate Defence Construction Canada, contractors, regulators, and stakeholdersRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related disciplineMinimum 12 years’ progressive project delivery experienceAt least five years delivering defence or federal infrastructure projectsExperience managing capital projects valued at $25 million or greaterAbility to obtain and maintain required federal security clearanceBring senior project leadership, federal infrastructure expertise, and multidisciplinary delivery experience to WSP’s Canadian defence practice.
