Project Engineer - FIFO Iron Bridge

Fortescue is seeking a Project Engineer for its Iron Bridge project, situated on the traditional Nyamal lands. This role is FIFO from Perth and is integral for safe and cost-effective project delivery. As a key player in the project team, you will report to the Senior Project Engineer and will support the execution of essential projects through effective lifecycle management. Your responsibilities will include overseeing contractor performance and ensuring adherence to compliance and safety standards. Engaging with stakeholders and accurately tracking project budgets are crucial components of this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate delivery of sustaining projects with Senior Project Engineer
• Manage full project lifecycle including design and commissioning
• Monitor performance through cost tracking and reporting
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Requirements:

• At least 4+ years of project experience in heavy industry
• Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical systems
• High-level communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with relevant standards and management tools like SAP
