Hospital Steam Plant Engineer Role Hamilton

We are looking for a dedicated Second Class Engineer with a valid Ontario qualification to oversee our hospital's Steam Plant. Candidates should have significant experience handling various sizes of steam plants and possess a comprehensive understanding of both automated and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain essential heating and cooling equipment
• Ensure proper function of pneumatic tube systems
• Step in as Power Plant supervisor when required
• Conduct water quality tests and treatments
• Responsible for inventory management of supplies

Requirements

• Valid Second Class Engineer Certificate from Ontario
• 36 months of experience with a focus on steam plants
• Ability to resolve mechanical malfunctions independently
• Knowledge of ventilation and plumbing systems
• Robust work record and attendance history
