ATC Software Developer Intern

Position Summary: Adacel is looking for a high-energy, passionate, and adaptive team player with great work ethic to join our software development team as an intern. They will participate in the design, development, and testing of new software or enhancements to existing software in support of maintenance and enhancement of the Adacel product lines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to software development best practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and fixing software issues.
• Document and maintain software functionality.
• Learn and adapt to company quality processes and standards.
• Engage in educational opportunities to update job knowledge and technical

skills.

Qualifications: Required

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer

science or other related field

• Able to work within Windows, Linux or both environments
• Familiar with software architectures and design methodologies
• Familiar with applicable programming languages such as C/C++, React, etc.
• Familiar with of procedural and object oriented coding methodologies
• Ability to work within a small team
• Knowledge of the AGILE/SCRUM methodology
