- Collect blood, tissue or other samples from patients
- Examine the results of the tests
- Prepare tissue sections for microscopic examinations
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and sample analyses
- Clean and maintain medical laboratory and laboratory equipment
- Collect tissue specimens for chemical analysis and record findings
- Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
