McClure Place Association is looking for a confident, mature, versatile and hard-working cook/chef to join its kitchen staff.
THE JOB: The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of food service including:
> Procurement
> pre-prep
> production
> cleaning and service of food
A Criminal Record check and Food Safety Certificate is required.
> Has a solid work ethic
> Is at work when scheduled, on time!
> Will participate as a contributing member of the food service team
> Presents with a servant attitude
Weekend work will be required. This position starts at 32 hours/week with possibility of increased hours in the future Benefits are available upon completion of the probationary period. THE WORKPLACE: McClure Place is a non-profit organization which offers enriched housing suites for seniors who are reasonably independent and self-sufficient. Residents live a vibrant social life here and the staff help to contribute to that independent spirit.
