You will lead planning, design, rehabilitation, and assessment of hydromechanical systems for hydroelectric facilities. The position combines multidisciplinary coordination, senior technical reviews, client communication, and mentoring responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
Lead hydromechanical planning, design, analysis, and rehabilitation projectsDesign gates, hoists, valves, penstocks, and intake systemsLead feasibility studies, detailed engineering, and procurement supportReview calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and design packagesCoordinate teams, clients, contractors, suppliers, and regulatorsRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringCanadian Professional Engineer designationAt least 15 years’ hydropower infrastructure experienceExperience leading technical and quality assurance reviewsKnowledge of MS Word, Excel, Mathcad, Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, and hydraulic softwareApply senior hydromechanical design, project leadership, and technical review expertise to KCB’s hydropower infrastructure work in Vancouver.
