Your New Role

• Leading and supporting building operations, maintenance activities, and contractor coordination across the portfolio.
• Performing advanced preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting building automation systems (BAS), identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and tenant comfort.
• Assisting with the oversight of capital projects, equipment upgrades, and major repairs.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and service providers while delivering a high level of customer service.
• Supporting and mentoring Building Operators and Maintenance personnel as required.
• Maintaining detailed maintenance records, equipment logs, and compliance documentation.
• Recording and reviewing weekly and monthly meter readings and assisting with energy management initiatives.
• Participating in an on-call rotation and responding to building-related emergencies when required.
• Reporting to the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 4th Class Power Engineering Certification required.
• 7+ years of commercial building operations experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, central plants, hydronic systems, chillers, boilers, air handling units, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Experience troubleshooting and operating Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance activities, coordinate contractors, and mentor junior operators.
• Strong understanding of building operations, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and tenant relationship management skills.
