Senior Product Designer (Platform)

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing Product Design teamDesign plays an integral role at Clio, making up one of the three pillars of our Research and Development organization alongside Product Management and EngineeringProduct designers directly engage in researching the behaviours and needs of our usersThey act as user experience champions as we work to transform the way lawyers and their staff provide services to their clientsIf you’re focused on shipping value to customers with an opportunity to revolutionize an industry, you’ve found your next teamOur Platform team is working hard to build the critical foundational systems and features that enable all of Clio to deliver value to our customersWe are in the process of seamlessly integrating our products so that users and their data flow through our system without frictionThis role will be part of the platform team that is responsible for unifying core experiences across all of our product surfacesDevelop and design concepts, prototypes, hi-fidelity mockups and present solutions that solve both business and user problems and deliver measurable outcomesWork alongside product management and engineering to understand the right problems to solve, and find the right solutions to themBe able to craft a compelling vision with engaging storytelling to drive excitement and alignment for the impact the vision can deliverCoordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholder teams to unify different experiences in separate products into a single cohesive oneBe able to articulate the rationale behind your design decisions, and be able to ask difficult questions and challenge assumptionsCoach and mentor fellow designers on a range of design practicesProvide thoughtful feedback in team critiquesBreak down complex concepts into smaller, more manageable piecesWrite research plans and conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysisLeverage product data and metrics to drive design decisions and measure product successBenefits
