6 Month Contract/Product Engineer

• They develop technical product solutions to meet the requirements of our customers.
• You will be technically responsible for the development, prototyping and validation of product design solutions and coordinate all development activities.
• They define product specifications according to customer requirements.
• You will take an active role within the core team and present technical results as a technical project manager.
• They ensure that our products are tested for best practice under the aspects of Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Ergonomics (DFE) to ensure compliance with product cost targets.
• They ensure that all necessary compliance and audit requirements are met.

Ideally, you bring this with you:

• Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering or comparable training
• At least 3 years of experience in product development in the automotive industry
• Experience in the creation of bills of materials
• Knowledge of technical calculations and analyses
• Knowledge of APQP terms in the automotive industry
• CAD knowledge (CATIA V5) is an advantage
• Independent and structured way of working, presentation and problem‑solving skills
• Teamwork
