Expected Start Date: To Be Determined; Posted Until Filled Union: HSAS Facility: Kindersley Health Centre City/Town: Kindersley Department: Ambulance - Land Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.75 Shift Information: Days, Nights, Evenings, Weekends, Standby Hours of Work: 168.00 hours per 6 week rotation Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic $39.654 to $48.451 Travel Required: No Job : The EMT-ACP will respond to calls for service as per dispatch instructions, providing assessment, treatment and transportation of ill or injured persons. The EMT-ACP will cover standby assignment, as operations require. Human Resources Exemption: No Education- Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP)
Licenses
- Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C)
- Valid Class 4 driver's license
- Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic/Advanced Care Paramedic (EMT-P/ACP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
Other Education and Training
- Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals (PEPP) certificate acceptable

- Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call
