You'll develop hands-on experience in retail security, incident response, observation, report writing, and professional communication-all skills that can open doors to more advanced security and loss prevention roles.If you're dependable, observant, physically active, and motivated to grow, this could be where your next chapter in security begins.What You'll DoAs a Retail Security Officer, you'll help create a safe and welcoming environment for customers, employees, and visitors while maintaining a professional security presence throughout the store.Your responsibilities will include:Maintain a professional and visible presence to deter theft and unwanted activity.Conduct regular patrols throughout the store, sales floor, entrances, exits, and designated areas.Remain alert and attentive while observing customer activity and identifying potential security concerns.Provide professional customer service, assist with inquiries, and support store staff when required.Respond appropriately to incidents, disturbances, safety concerns, and other situations.Observe, identify, and report suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.Complete clear, accurate, and professional incident reports and daily activity logs.Communicate effectively with store management, Loss Prevention, and other security personnel.Support a safe, secure, and positive environment for customers and staff.This Role Is ActiveThis is not a sit-down security position.You must be comfortable standing and walking throughout the store for the full duration of your shift, while remaining alert and engaged with your surroundings.Strong report writing is also an important part of the role.
