Welcome to Quidi Vidi Brewery!

We are seeking an energetic and motivated team player to join our cleaning department.

Reporting to the Taproom Manager, the Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the Taproom, facilities, and public areas of Quidi Vidi Brewery.

This position is responsible for ensuring cleanliness standards are consistently met, contributing to the exceptional guest experience and upholding the visual presentation of the brewery.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in commercial facilities.
• Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and effectively.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
