Job Summary

KSI Law is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support business intelligence, reporting, and process automation initiatives. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for developing reporting solutions, improving operational efficiency through automation, and providing actionable insights to support business decisions. The successful candidate will also provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, reports, dashboards, and data solutions.
  • Build and maintain automated reporting processes using SQL, Excel, Power Query, Python, and other reporting tools.
  • Analyze operational and client data to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of reporting data.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support campaign setup, data preparation, file validation, and operational reporting.
  • Work closely with Operations, Management, IT, and clients to gather business requirements and deliver reporting solutions.
  • Lead reporting enhancement and automation projects to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Review reports and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and present findings and recommendations to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Python (Pandas) for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL Server.
  • Experience with workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and data validation.
  • Experience in collections, financial services, legal services, or a related industry is considered an asset.
