Position Overview: This position is responsible for assisting the Client Service Manager in all aspects of Paladin business within a particular contract. Working closely with the Client Service Manager (CSM), the Contract Manager will be expected to learn the details of the sites in the contract and be available to answer questions, concerns from the client and from staff, as well as perform investigations and implement changes in order to meet and exceed the client’s changing expectations. The Contract Manager is expected to oversee and coordinate supervisors, as the communication link between them and the CSM. Any deficiencies or site issues must be reported to the CSM via email immediately so that a proper paper record is created. The Contract Manager will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge of security industry standards and practices while managing various administrative functions within the portfolio. Job Functions: -Provide support for staff and client issues and concerns in a timely manner -Maintain strict confidentiality, data integrity, and accurate records; respond to inquiries and request for information in an appropriate manner -Fulfill tasks delegated by the Client Service Manager and provide informative feedback and recommendations in regards to different sites and their operations -Coordinate with site and shift supervisors to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner and actions taken are reported back to the CSM. -Provide a leadership role to the security staff and supervisors in the contract. -Set up and provide logistical support for short term contracts (specials) -Verify the schedule against timesheets provided by staff or sites - Foster a safe and energetic work environment for their team -Ensure the staff has read and understand Paladin's Occupational Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and for reporting any infractions or accidents that occur on site. -Report and confer with the CSM on a regular basis, encourage a strong team dynamic, and have an open door policy. -Ensure all sites have up to date and complete Site Orders both in hard copy on site and in digital copy on the network server -Remain on-call to act as an after-hours resource for emergencies -Report regularly to the Client Service Manager on matters of company or client interest or significant events -Perform various administrative duties and other duties as required Minimum Job Requirements: - Must possess a minimum of three to five years of security experience - Two to three years in a supervisory/ leadership role -Computer literate -Card access / familiarity with major access control software is an asset - Valid Alberta Security License - Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation - Completion of High School Diploma - Proven leadership, time management, organizational skills and a high level of professionalism -Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal - Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally -Ability to write comprehensive reports and maintain proper records -Strong ability to multitask and exercise good judgment in intense environment -Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and present a professional image to the public -Experience in a team work environment -Demonstrated ability to be able to handle private and confidential information with a high amount of discretion -Adhere to Paladin’s Code of Ethics while performing job duties -Strong work ethic with the ability to work effectively unsupervised
